During the normal operation of the crusher, there may be material blockage. Once the material is blocked, it needs to be shut down for cleaning, which affects the efficiency of the overall production line. The prolonged blockage may also damage the performance of the crusher.

Causes of blockage in the discharge buckle

Slow discharge

Under normal circumstances, the feeding and discharging speeds of the crusher should be balanced, and any abnormality in either of them can cause material blockage. In the production of a crusher, if the discharge port is not adjusted properly and the size of the discharge port is not set properly, it will cause a large amount of material to be blocked inside the machine, causing the discharge speed to be too slow, and ultimately causing material blockage.

V-belt

The main transmission mode of the jaw crusher is to drive the flywheel through a triangular belt for high-speed inertial operation; If the triangular belt is too loose, it will cause slipping. The triangular belt cannot drive the groove wheel but rotates with the groove wheel, and the material cannot be broken normally, or the broken material cannot be smoothly removed, resulting in material blockage.

Equipment issues

If the problem of material blockage often occurs, it is likely related to the equipment quality of the crusher itself, such as incorrect selection of the crusher cavity type, design of transmission components that result in the crusher not achieving good crushing effect, or mismatched processing capacity of crushing, conveying, screening and other systems, all of which may cause material blockage.

Crusher component wear

The main components of the crusher are subject to wear and tear, which can affect the crushing capacity of the crusher. If the material is not completely crushed, the crushing effect is poor, and it can also cause material blockage.

Regular inspections such as daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of crushers can effectively improve equipment operation rate, replace vulnerable parts in a timely manner, and avoid affecting production efficiency.
